JB Model SH-4, Bridge
The Hot Vintage style humbucker that Seymour first made for Jeff Beck years ago. This pickup offers a wonderful balance between sweet humbucking tone and high sustain raw rock & roll. Cleans up nicely when you roll off the volume control, and "comes out swinging" when cranked up. This pickup makes an excellent choice for the bridge position when you are looking for more output than the 59 or Seth Lover, while still retaining a vintage character. Comes with 4-conductor cable.
Jazz Model SH-2 Humbucker
This pickup has a somewhat brighter tone with slightly less output. In the neck position this pickup makes a perfect accompaniment to any of the bridge position humbuckers that we sell. Recommended for the player seeking a slightly cleaner tone in the neck position. Excellent for blues, jazz, country, rock, you name it. A Jazz model in the neck, and a JB in the bridge is Seymour's personal favorite combination. Comes with 4-conductor cable.
Pearly Gates model SH-PG1
The original custom Pearly Gates™ pickups were wound for the famous '59 Les Paul® Standard that defined the raw, rebellious sound of Texas blues rock. Essentially a variation on the Patent Applied For sound, the Pearly Gates sound is sweet, but slightly rude, with great sustain and a bright top that make harmonics jump out of the guitar.
59 Model SH-1 Humbucker
Seymour Duncan's classic, constructed to exacting specifications with an Alnico 5 magnet, having a bright, yet warm PAF tone. This pickup looks and sounds just like a '59 PAF. Comes with single conductor shielded cable.
59 Model SH-1 Humbucker unpotted
These 59's are made especially for us by the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop. They are identical to the classic 59 shown above, except that they are un-potted just like the Seth Lover model. Being un-potted gives these 59's the vintage tone of a 40+ year old PAF humbucker. Comes with single conductor shielded cable.
Seth Lover SH-55 Humbucker
Designed jointly by Seymour and humbucker inventor Seth Lover. Just like the original 1955 PAFs, the SH-55 Seth Lover utilizes a nickel silver bottom plate, butyrate plastic bobbins, plain enamel wire, an Alnico II bar magnet, a wooden spacer, and black paper tape. The SH-55 uses a nickel silver cover instead of brass, as brass magnetically eliminates too much of the pickup's natural high-end tone. To be completely true to the original design and tone, the pickup is not wax potted. The tone is very warm, thick, vintage P.A.F. Each pickup bears the signatures of Seth Lover and Seymour Duncan and is individually numbered. Comes with single conductor shielded cable. Includes black pickup ring in addition to mounting hardware.
Alnico II Pro Humbucker
Warm, moderate-output humbucker. Great for jazz, blues, classic rock and slide.
The Alnico 2 magnet and moderate windings yield a warm, sweet tone with more natural string vibration for great sustain. Classic rock players who get their distortion from the amp rather than the pickup love the APH-1. It allows them to back off the crunch and get beautiful clean tones with softer attack. Compared to the '59, the Alnico II Pro has a rounder sound with a spongier bass response. Comes with four-conductor hookup cable and no logo.
Often the APH-1 is used in both neck and bridge positions. Or, in the neck with a higher output pickup like an SH-11 Custom Custom or SHPG-1b Pearly Gates for heavier rock or hotter blues sounds from the bridge position.
For brighter toned instruments. Works especially well with maple and ebony fingerboards. Also works great with hollow and semi-hollow body guitars.
Duckbucker for Stratocaster® model SDBR-1
Such a silly name for a serious pickup! By using true hum cancelling construction, together with a unique split blade, magnetic circuit, Duckbuckers are built are built to duplicate the warm tone and cool output of a vintage Strat® pickup. All the quack, with none of the hum! Duckbuckers offer the advantage of having fully adjustable pole pieces and employ a unique blade/pole piece system to create a narrow magnetic field identical to that found in vintage single coil pickups. You can use a full set of Duckbuckers or put a Little '59 or Little JB in the bridge.

The Seymour Duncan Little '59 brings you all the warm, smooth tone of an old 1959 "Patent Applied For" humbucker in a single coil size. No guitar modifications are necessary.
