Seymour Duncan Pickups for Strat®

All Seymour Duncan pickups come with mounting hardware and wiring diagram. Guitar and bass wiring diagrams and schematics also available here.

Seymour Duncan model 11024-01 Custom Bridge for Strat®

Seymour wound this pickup hotter for added output and fullness. Like his Texas Hot Antiquity, this pickup is both magnetically and physically aged to sound and look like a '50s pickup but with an added punch. Each comes with a specially aged cover. Seymour doesn't just mold his covers with custom colors so that they look old. The magnets are calibrated and the coils are wound "top going" with North polarity, the same as the early vintage models. Each pickup comes complete with screws, schematics, and vintage "push back" cloth braid hookup wire.

Seymour Duncan Texas Hot for Strat® model 11024-02

For years now Seymour's been custom-making these pickups for his friends and special artist friends. Each Texas Hot Antiquity is carefully assembled and hand-wound like the traditional classics. Careful attention to details like scatter-winding ensures that the Texas Hot looks and sounds like a classic Strat® should. Seymour makes them for the player wanting the closest re-creation of a vintage pickup. Period. The magnets are calibrated and the coils are wound "top going" with "north" magnetic polarity, the same as the early vintage models. Each cover is individually aged: not just injection molded with custom colored plastics. Each pickup comes complete with screws, schematics and vintage "push back" cloth braid hookup wire. A RW/RP version is available for the middle position.

Seymour Duncan Antiquity II '60s "Surf" for Strat®

Don't let the name fool you: the '60s Surfer pickup would be equally comfortable in the smoky clubs of Chicago's West Side as hanging ten at the Malibu Pier. The Antiquity II Surfer is hailed by many as the ultimate pickup for vintage Strat® chime and quack. Whether you play Blues, West Side Soul, Surf, or Jangle Pop, the Surfer has the sweet highs and percussive lows to give you and your Strat® a Free Ride on the Way Back Machine without sacrificing output or versatility. Specialty Guitars offers the Custom Bridge version for those players needing more output from the bridge position.

Vintage Staggered Stratocaster® model SSL-1

Seymour's replica of the pickups on the original 54 Stratocaster®. The same type of magnet wire is used, as well as the same number of coil windings. The staggered Alnico 5 rod magnets are hand-ground, then aged by the exclusive Dun-Aged process; lacquered bobbins and cloth-braid hookup wire complete the vintage look. Every detail is included to duplicate the bell-like tone and the high-end bite that made the vintage Strat® famous. These are the choice for the Strat® player looking for the classic, vintage Strat® tone.

Standard $79.00
RWRP $89.00

Vintage Flat Strat® model SSL-2

Same as the Vintage Staggered, but with flat magnets. This creates a different magnetic field, producing more midrange. Some players like the tone of the staggered magnet pickups for the Neck and Middle positions, and flat magnets for the Bridge position. The flat magnets allow for the bridge pickup to be set closer to the strings. Robert Cray uses this type of configuration in his autograph model Stratocaster®.
